As of July 9, the Eldora Million entry lists sits at 82 entries. Lance Dewease and the 69K team have officially withdrawn from the event. Even though the early registration has closed, I think we could see a few more guys show up.
A few surprises have been left off the list that I expected to see.
88 – Austin McCarl
Austin usually shows up for the big events. He has traveled for the High Limit series, which might be the reason he is not on the entry list.
7S – Robbie Price
You would think Price and the Jason Sides team would be entered with the Kings Royal immediately following the Million. I think he will be in the field.
6 – Bill Rose
For the same reasons above, the full time Outlaw should be racing for the million. He could be saving his stuff for the Kings Royal.
33W – Cap Henry
Cap is enjoying a great season racing locally in Ohio. Distance is not a factor, so could we see Henry at the million?
5T – Ryan Timms
Timms is running a full midget schedule and there might be a conflict with the million. His team is usually at as many big events as they can during the year.
23 – Zeth Sabo
Sabo started the season as a full time All Star. The Ohio driver is surprisingly missing from the entry list. We have seen him drive a Rich Farmer machine this year, is that a possibility?
3/19 – Ayrton Gennetten
Another guy who tends to travel a little bit throughout the season. He might be staying local with Austin McCarl.
23 – Devon Borden
Borden has been running well at Port Royal. I thought for sure we would see him and the 23 team at Eldora.
2 – Ricky Peterson
Ricky has been running well in Ohio. He has a smaller operation and I think we could see him in the pits for the million.
1 – Logan Wagner
Logan doesn’t usually leave the porch and he has not been running as much as usual this season. He is strong in the no. 1 machine and could be a threat if he makes the trip.
