Kyle Cummins gets our gasser of the week award for his epic performance at Macon Speedway over the weekend. Cummins set a new track record in qualifying on Saturday and finished in 3rd place on both nights of USAC competition.

On Friday night, Cummins found himself in the middle of an incredible battle with Mitchel Moles and Carson Garrett. The trio raced hard on the final two laps of the A Main and Moles ultimately came out on top.

Cummins unfortunately ended his night in spectacular fashion. Coming out of turn four, Cummins drove his car in deep trying to pass Moles for the win. He ended up smacking the wall and flipping down the front stretch. He was still able to finish on the podium in third. Cummins was able to walk away from the accident.

Cummins always puts on a show on the short tracks. He dominated earlier in the season at Action Track. Kyle can flat out get it done at the bull rings.
