Anthony Macri and Brent Marks are racing side by side every single night and it’s a thing of beauty. They had some drama earlier in the year but things have been clean so far during PA Speedweek. Both of these guys have a legitimate shot at winning the Eldora Million.
Seeing Shane Stewart in victory lane again was very cool. I love that Indy Race Parts 71 and I root for whoever is driving that beast. Shane will be interesting to watch in the upcoming weeks.
Cedar Lake is now on my bucket list. Both Outlaw races were great and the fireworks were even better. David Gravel remains hot and could be on his way to a championship.
Zeth Sabo is going to win a lot of races throughout his career. Wish he could have stayed on the All Star tour.
We need to see more of Tanner Thorson and that 58 car. They have been super fast during PA Speedweek and fun to watch. Hopefully we see him at the big ones coming up.
Freddie Rahmer is legitimately good. He gets a lot of hate for never leaving the porch and being a one track wonder. Nine wins against the Posse is impressive regardless of how you feel.
HOT TAKES
We’re about to witness a Jacob Allen masterclass. He’s going to win some races very soon and be up front at either Knoxville or Eldora.
Once Donny Schatz retires, Tony Stewart will no longer field a World of Outlaws team. I wouldn’t be surprised if he still kept a car around for some special events, but I think his mind is elsewhere. Unless Tony switches to Dodge. Then he needs to stay because I want to see a throwback Mopar sprint car.
Zeb Wise will be a top point man at the Eldora Million. He didn’t even race this weekend but he almost won at Skagit and has been super fast.
