The 2024 Wild West Shootout at Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico will kick off this weekend. Last season, the shootout produced incredible racing between some of the nations top super late model drivers. Jonathan Davenport edged out Kyle Larson for the 2023 championship, and will look to defend his title in 2024. How the Shootout Works
Super Late Model drivers will compete for the Wild West Shootout points championship. Each event will serve as a new night of racing that will count towards the points. Additional bonuses will be rewarded for drivers who can win four or more of the six races. If a driver wins all 6 races, they will be awarded a $300,000 bonus on top of the race payouts and points fund. If a driver can win 5 of the 6 races, they will earn a $100,000 bonus. Finally, if a driver can win 4 of the 6 races, they will earn a $25,000 bonus. Theoretically, if a driver can win all 6 races, they would walk away with over $387,000 and a brand new Chevy Silverado.
