As we survive another week of no 410 sprint car racing, we got some more news surrounding the High Limit schedule for the 2024 season. Fortunately, we did get to see some sprint car guys in midget racing action at Merced and Ventura during the week. Also, we got an update about a full-time World of Outlaws driver in 2023 who is now looking for a ride.

Headlines
The High Limit Sprint Car Series will spend three nights in New York in May. The will make stops at Outlaw Speedway, Fonda Speedway and Utica-Rome Speedway. Each race is expected to pay $12,000 to win and be in conjunction with some Northeast dirt modified races.
Robbie Price announced via his Facebook that he is looking for a new opportunity for 2024. He will not be back behind the wheel of the Jason Sides’ no. 7s machine that typically runs the full World of Outlaw schedule. Sides’ has not publicly commented about his 2024 plans yet.
Sharon Speedway announced that the Lou Blaney Memorial race will pay $12,000 to win in 2024 in honor of Ryan Blaney’s NASCAR Cup Series Championship. Ryan Blaney will be making an appearance at the event. This is great news for local Ohio racers, as we need some more high paying events to fill the void that could be created by the absence of the All Stars.
That’s about it for this week’s 410 sprint car news. I expect that the next few weeks will be full of driver and series schedule announcements. We will also start to see an uptick in the sprint car racing going on in Australia and New Zealand. Stay tuned.
